I had the opportunity to speak to Sana Shaikh who is 14 years old. She lives with her mother and father and two little sisters. Her dream is to become a doctor and her parents also want her to chase her dreams. The reason why she wants to help other people but without the help of Magic Bus this dream would never be achievable.
When Sana Shaikh joined Magic Bus they realised she was not getting the support she needed from her family which is therefore leading to her studyies from suffering. She found it very hard to understand words and make sentences. Magic Bus understood that if she was given some guidance and better care this would allow her to achieve her dream.
Her teacher says Sana is very active in the class. She also attends all the extracurricular activities in the school; she just wants to help other people where she can. Sana is excellent in class she participated in all the activities in school and the Magic Bus session. Sana is a very hard-working girl because when she was younger in her home due to not have good family support when she was younger.
Since Sana has joined the Magic Bus I am glade to see that she has made good improvement now. She has gained a good amount of confidence and interested in learning even more which is so good to see.
Seeing the story of Sana just shows how critical Magic Bus has been to Sana in allowing her to chase her dreams of becoming a doctor. Without the support of, Magic Bus would never be able to support children like Sana so I am very grateful for your kind donations. Without your support children are not able to come for extra sessions with Magic Bus.
Children would not have the opportunity to play football for 2 hours per week. This is a massive opportunity and allows them to take a break from where they live and make new friends.
Without our support, this is what the next generations of children are going to be living in, which is not going to solve the issue of getting the children out of the slums which is my main aim.
