This morning I had to do a creative lesson for the children, we all know how uncreative I am so there I was having to google creative lesson.
So we started with a bit of fun, I got the children not to lift their pen and draw something within 20 seconds. We had some interesting drawings, which the children then had to describe in some cases but in other words just said what they drew.
Once we had done this we then moved on to creating a story with drawings. So we all drew something and then passed it on to the next person. Once we passed it on we then covered the first imagie so we could use our imaginations more. Sometimes the children had to ask each other or me more like what have you drawn! We carried this on till we got our original drawing back to us. At the start, we didn’t have a timer on but by the end, we did as we all took ages and this was slowing down how many drawings we could do. Once we had our original drawing back we then had to create a story using all of the different images we had drawn. The children wrote them in Hindi as they found this easier for them but we will try and get them to write it in English to build their English up.

This was the children looking at the interesting drawing I did on the board where I wasn’t allowed to lift up my pen. And no I didn’t take a photo of this as this was awful I had no idea what it was just said it was a rain cloud!

This was the children writing up their story at the end using all of the drawings we had created.

This was an example of what we all drew and then the children wrote a story using all of the drawings.

This was my example of writting up a story. I placed number on the image and the word to show the children that I have used most of the drawings which they had drawn, the teacher did have to read this in Hindi to allow the children to understand my story.

This again was one of the children reading out the story which they have created through the drawings we created.
