To kick start my Sunday, my key came out of the holder, which allows me to have electricity. I woke up at 7 am so hot I was so confused; my first reaction was I have Delhi belly after trying new foods! So I definitely didn’t do what everyone says not to do and google symptoms of Delhi belly. Don’t worry; I didn’t have enough of the main symptoms to panic. After my mini panic attack, I decided I needed to drink more cold water, so I got up, found some water and drank it all, you can imagine what I said once I worked out the issue and had to wake up and go to the toilet! Then I had an intelligent moment! Why not just turn the air con temperature down don’t ask me why this didn’t come to mind straight away! After trying to turn the air-con down, I could see after getting annoyed at the air-con machine it wasn’t on! Then I looked at my phone, and that wasn’t even charging, I was so confused, maybe a massive power cut. Thinking it was a massive power cut, I just sucked it up and went back to sleep, but not for long, as I guessed I needed the toilet! When walking to the toilet, I saw my key on the floor. So I placed the key back into the area it needed to be, and guess what it just fell out! So, putting my brain cells to work, I realised the slot for my key had broken the tap had given way, so I needed to re-stick the tape. Problem solved I have electricity, and back to bed, I go to sleep! This was learning experience number 1
After having a disruptive morning, I just had a bit of a chilled morning! I decided to go for a walk around Mumbai to just see what this city has to offer and fell across this brunch restaurant. So I went in and had some food I finally found Nutella before anyone said that it’s English food, my excuse is it had Indian writing on it, which makes it Indian food! So the next learning experience came when I went to pay in cash, and everything seemed fine he came back and said sorry, but this note had expired, I felt so embarrassed and apologised I did give him a correct, VALID note. I came back to the hostel and told my friend Kaveri and she was like I’ve not known any Indian note to expire let me have a look at the note. After observing the note for a long time, she said it was from the Bank of Sri Lanka! Oh dear, I tried to give the man the wrong currency, not an invalid note, I don’t know what is worse! Lesson two learnt!
The final lesson I have learnt is all about Uno Flip! I am such a big Uno fan how have I never heard of this game? For anyone interested, it gives it away in the name! You play normal Uno with normal colours and rules, and there is a card which allows you to turn all the cards over to different colours, the same numbers and rules. The first game was a practice only because I lost, then the next two games I won; I was then done as I was ending on a high!
I want to reiterate the saying every day is a learning day, as this is correct even if you have done school or even a grown adult!

For anyone interested, this was the note I tried to pay my brunch with. I just read the 20 rupees and not the Central Bank of India, in my eyes the writing needs to be bigger of the colours need to be completely different.

This is the correct 20 rupees I should have paid with! In my defence, the colours are nearly the same, that’s my excuse anyway!

This was us playing Uno Flip this is the card when you flip the cards.the top card in the middle if the card which you have to place to flip the cards.

After I said Uno and won the first game, they decided to place five and switch the direction of play, so I had to sit there and wait, the aim was to get it off blue as that was what they thought I had, as you can study the cards when you switch them but they were wrong I had an orange card, and I won!

This was the Nutella Waffle I had.
