Again, I was lucky to speak to a student who is part of the Dharavi community. Being able to teach him for the past 4 weeks and see how much progress he has made is just so inspiring too.
Sumit Guptai is a young boy who lives in Dharavi with two younger brothers his mother who is a homemaker and his father who works as a POP.
Before Sumit came to Magic Bus he was having private tutortion classes which charged his parents money but these didn’t seem to provide him with the adequate learning opporuintes.
However after Sumit attended 2-3 sessions of Magic Bus, Sumit found the experience highly engaging adn informative. He decided to stop the private tuition classes and attend Magic Bus sessions exclusively.
Since Sumit joined Magic Bus he was been able to extend his knowelsged of grammer and deveopled a stronger foundation in Hindi. Since he has joined Magic Bus Sumit has received excellent guidance particularly in. identifying ascending nad decending fractions, calacialting area and perimeter.
The most remarkable aspect of Sumit’s journey is that he has been able to assist his peers in school and share his knowledge with them, which I have been able to see when I have been teaching him. Since Sumit has done this he has inspired his friends to learn and understand concepts that he has mastered.
His parents are so grateful for what Magic Bus has done for Sumit and how they can change his education.
