Working in three different locations allowed me to visit the Antop Hill Slums. Due to it being a bank holiday and Eid when families have gone to celebrate with the rest of their families I was unable to speak to any of the families, but still an eye-opener experience, which I am so grateful to have.
The reason why I went to view the slums was not just for the experience but also part of Magic Bus the teachers have to do a community walk where they make sure everything is ok with families within the community to see if they can support the children differently.
As I have said before writing about my experience does not give it justice so I took so many photos for you guys to look through and just realise how lucky we are in England.

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this was England Health and Safety would have a heart attack over the amount of wires!

When I walked through the slums my shoes got so dirty and wet, just knowing this is how people live is just eye-opening to me as I was so glad to be able to switch shoes when I got back.

This is what people live in just can’t believe they can callthis their home due to how old and not stable.

I still can’t get over the amount of rubbish, but knowing people look at this and say this is their community is just outstanding me these people just have so much relicense.

This was the traffic! As you can see people just drive where they want to drive there is no keep to your side of the road. All I say is there was a lot of honking going on!

This use to be someone home but has been desotryed. They have moved somewhere else but due to them not having enough money this is how it’s been left and will probably be left like this for a long time.
